Description

Due to the Missouri Attorney General’s emergency regulation that bans gender-affirming care for many Missourians, we encourage any Missourian interested in starting gender-affirming care to make an appointment__ before the regulation takes effect on April 27__.

When scheduling with Planned Parenthood, Andy (he/him) says “I have been receiving care with Planned Parenthood and they require in-person appointments once a year to continue care. So I would recommend against telehealth appointments because I don’t want other folks to get charged over $200 for 1 month of hormones and still have to pay the same amount for an in person appointment the next month.”

Planned Parenthood is offering additional appointments to new gender-affirming care patients beginning on Monday, April 17, at several locations, including in Springfield and St. Louis, Missouri, and at the health center in Fairview Heights, Illinois.
