Description

Young Queer Creatives is an organization dedicated to providing mental health services and support to LGBTQ+ youth and teens. We advocate for the use of expressive arts, including visual art, literary art, and performance art, to improve the mental well-being of young queer people.

Our primary focus is our fellowship program, which gives a select number of applicants in the Greater St. Louis area the opportunity to attend workshops led by licensed mental health professionals, engage in meaningful group discussions, and participate in expressive art therapy exercises to better their overall mental well-being. As part of our program, we also offer participants the opportunity to have their work featured in a public art exhibition.

The Young Queer Creatives fellowship program services LGBTQ+ teens who are currently enrolled in grades 9-12. If you are interested, this is a wonderful opportunity to harness your creative expression and use it to channel a healthy mental state.
