Description

MAP (Missourians Aging with Pride) strives to enhance the quality of life of LGBTQ+ older people through service, advocacy and community awareness. This affiliate has a number of programs, including bereavement support, home care referrals, legal clinics, social meal outings, finance programs, and more. Also conducts LGBTQ+ cultural competency trainings to other organizations and agencies throughout the state.

Educates and partners with local community organizations to ensure cultural competency, advocates on behalf of LGBT older adults and their needs, and provides socialization and community building opportunities.
