Description

Note: It's noot clear if this is offered in-person in Texas or online.

The Montrose Center in Dallas (Texas) provides an open-ended support group for gay, bisexual and/or transgender (FtM) men who have experienced domestic or intimate partner violence, sexual assault, or have been targeted for a hate/bias crime, whether as an adult or a child. Group discussions focus primarily upon trauma recovery, and the impact of violence on relationships, sexuality, career, education, and daily functioning.

New participants must complete a brief intake assessment and meet with the group facilitator prior to joining, and must have already some experience in addressing trauma issues in individual therapy or be in the process of doing so.
