Description

We are growing an LGBT+ space on the VSC, to provide social connection and support to those experiencing social isolation. There will be LGBT+ classes and discussion groups that will focus on a range of topics, from fun to educational. Members also have access to the wider VSC community and class programming. We have partnered with Stonewall Village NYC, a network of community groups and organizations in New York, to kick start our programming. Now, we are looking to share this opportunity with a larger region.

The VSC is a vibrant community of older adults across the United States that engage in daily live classes from the comfort of their homes. The VSC offers a secure, older adult friendly platform that provides access to individuals and communities to engage in live, interactive classes, live chats, recorded content, curated links and games, and more. Started over a decade ago to combat social isolation and loneliness in older adults, VSC has continuously adapted to new technologies and opportunities to support the evolving needs of our communities.
